Trowbridge Town Bowls Club Membership

At the club there are currently around 60 members of both men and ladies. Although the club does not have the amount of members that some of the other clubs within Wiltshire have, the atmosphere could not be friendlier.

Membership Fees For 2011

For a full membership, the cost is currently £50 per year.

For under 18's, the membership cost is currently half price of a full membership per year (£22.50)

For non-members who wish to use the green there is a cost of £1 per visit.

A membership at Trowbridge Town offers full use of the green, clubhouse, facilities and entry into all of the club competitions, if you wish to and if eligible.

Extra Costs

For all mens league games, friendlies, mixed friendlies and ladies friendlies there is a match fee of £2.50 per game, which is for the cost of the food and drink supplied at the end of each game. This is the same for away games as this cost covers transport expenses.

For ladies league games there is a match fee of £1.50 per game to again cover the cost of tea and biscuits supplied after the game. This is the same for away games so that transport expenses are covered.

For North Wilts mixed league games there is a match fee of £1.50 per game which is to cover the costs of tea and biscuits, which are supplied after the game. This is the same for away games.

Visitors Are Welcome!

If you would like to visit the club, please feel free to come along at any time. The club is usually being used most evenings and at weekends and there will be someone there to welcome you and show you around.

You will find lots of seating to sit down and relax while watching the game of bowls so please come along, we will be only too pleased to welcome you.

If you would like to become a member, you can do so by either contacting a member of the club, by visiting our contacts or Application page or by asking a member at the club when you visit us. There will be a friendly member there to advise and assist you while on your visit. If you wish to visit the club during the day then please contact one of our members and they will arrive at the club to open it and help you when it is convenient for you.
